October Catch Up

Madison has been enjoying October. She loves her new daycare. She loves going outside and they do plenty of that. Last weekend we went to Riley Lucinskas' 4th birthday part where there was a bouncy house. Madison loved jumping and running with the other kids. She is just so playful and oodles of fun these days.

Her vocabulary is really coming along. She repeats pretty much anything you say. We were at the grocery store and Madison was singing to the music from my cell phone. Wouldn't you know Meredith Brook's song "Bitch" came on and that was all she yelled the rest of the time in the store. Time to delete that one. She is also stringing words together this week she said "I want Pizza" (commando) and is very good with "milk please".

Flu season has begun and I along with others are freaked out by the "swine" flu. Sure enough Madison developed a rash and we had to go directly to the infectious doctors office. Madison is allergic or sensitive to something but we have no clue as to what. Of course as soon as I leave my head and lungs start to ache. I swear I walk in there healthy and leave a mess, it never fails. Even better the very next day the story on the front page was how my pediatricians practice has had an outbreak of the H1N1 and do not have enough vaccines, great. Thankfully further in the article it said no cases in Amesbury office just Newburyport.

Boompa's Birthday

Happy Birthday Boompa, it was nice to have everyone together. It was a nice chance for Madi to play with cousin Tyler. They are both growing up so fast.

Cleaning Lady

Madison absolutely loves to clean. Anytime she gets a cloth she'll wipe just about anything including the dogs. She decided to dust for me and dusted the elephant over and over and kept making sure she could still take him for a ride.

Opening Day Topsfield Fair

We've been busy this October and I have been slacking at posting like many of you. We went to the Topsfield Fair with Madison this year. It was her first time. She was too little for the rides but she loved the animals, the activity of the crowds and of course the fair food. Needless to say I did not fair so well after the greasy fried food. It was nice to see some old friends from town. I can't wait for next year.
