Sledding 2012

This was the first real snow of the season. It was just enough to finally use our new sleds. We knew it wouldn't last long so we took advantage of the fun while we could. Looks really are deceiving. Our little hill is like a rocket ship launching us into the woods. Madison and I only stopped once we hit a tree in the woods. Of course the one time Dave uses my tube he goes flying in the woods through the pricker bushes into the trees and pops my sled. Funny, he manages to stop when he uses his sled.

The whole family had fun. Jackson was all up in Dave's face. We know how much he loves him. I had to add the picture of Jackson kissing him as he landed. It is a priceless gem. Speaking of Jackson, Madison is fascinated with his booty. She says his butt looks lie an eyeball. Dave told her it is called a brown eye. I guess I should save my money and skip Catholic school because she probably would only get kicked out. Poor Tucker, he got hit many times because he refuses to get out of the way. One time, he ended up going down the hill on top of Madison. He also bounced off the table and swing set and limped the following week. It was a great weekend, I hate to admit after last year that I would like to see more snow.

Mickey Mouse

I thought she did a great job drawing Mickey Mouse. I was impressed.

Angry

We celebrated her actual birthday just the 3 of us. She chose an angry bird cake/cupcake combo. Oh god, she is her father's daughter. Heaven help me. She was so excited to be able to cut the cake herself now that she is 4.

The Big 4.0

Happy Birthday to my beautiful baby. I cannot believe she is 4 already. We had a great day today. We were woken up by Madison yelling "Mama I am 4" across the hall. Her excitement was contagious. We had a small just us celebration today and will have a real party in a few weeks. We went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3d at the movies. We gave her a few presents and ended the day by letting her cut her own angry birds cake. She told us she wants a huge Ariel cake for her party and she warned Dave that it is going to cost a lot of money. Where does she come from? She really is a hoot. Happy Birthday Princess, Mom and Dad love you more than you will ever know.

The Eyesore

Yay we finally got Uncle Doug to tackle one of our pine trees.

Soccer Picture Day!

Madison was so excited she couldn't relax and smile. The photographer told them to say "Bees" for the group photo. She couldn't contain her excitement and kept raising her hands. She just couldn't sit still to top it off Boompa and Nana B came to this game.

Boompa's Birthday

Madison painted Boompa a candle holder for his birthday this year. She was so excited to give it to him. We had a nice Feener family dinner at the Bradford Tavern.
