I Can Do It!

Madison prefers to feed herself these days. This was after a bowl of spaghetti. After meals I wonder how I am ever going to get her clean.

Bah Humbug

Bah humbug is what Madison was saying or shall I say screeching today. Of course Mommy had big plans for today. Being the awful mother that I am, I have never taken her to get her pictures taken professionally. In my defense, I do take a lot of pictures. So I booked an appointment and the family trotted off to the mall today for pictures and for Madi to finally meet Santa. I know 2 in 1 day, what was I thinking.
Madison's neck has been fine for 3 months. Well today she gets the tilt you see in the last picture. Today, she cannot lift her head up. Of course I didn't realize how bad it was until we were at the mall. She also woke up cranky and with a dry red rashy face. I think she is popping another tooth because the whole lower left gum is severely inflamed. She may also not have recovered from her ear infections.
Well aside form the fact she couldn't pick her head up or smile we got pictures taken. It probably was a waste of money but I ordered holiday cards though the pictures were awful. Stubborn and determined, I did not give up there Madi met Santa for the 1st time. Let's leave it at it did not go better. Dave grabbed the crying baby and asked if Mommy is happy now and declared again it is time to go. As you can see Madison was in no mood for pictures today.

Jello

Madison has been a little fussy between the ears and the teeth so someone came up with the bright idea to try jello. What was I thinking? and red? Well it was fun cleaning that one up. Her fingers are stained and her shirt is ruined but hey she enjoyed it.

Poor Tucker!

Not sure why she is yelling at Tucker considering she crawled over and took 2 bones out of his mouth. I know it's disgusting, I do take them away from her. It;s just funny to see my hyperactive dog be mellow with my baby. If Jackson tried that he'd pay big time. Madison has recently been paying the dogs attention. She looks at them giggles and tries to touch them.

Lazy!!!!!!

Lazy bones on a rainy day, they all decided to nap while I tackled Madi's room and the laundry. Hardly seems fair if you ask me. At least Jackson gave me a nonchalent eye opening when I came around with the camera.

I am trying to get the hang of this zoom lens. No one's been safe today. I spent and hour this morning trying to get them far enough away from me and staying still for me to practice. I love the second one because when Madison sees the remote control she goes crazy to get it. I swear she is capable of anything when it comes to the remote. She is her fathers daughter.

Sick Again

Madison has been sick again with double ear infections. She is finally recovering. The poor kid gets it all at once with the ears, a severe rash and we think she's teething. She kept us up for 3 nights. She slept through it but we didn't. We thought she might have had night terrors because she would scream and thrash about but was still sleeping. It was quite scary because we couldn't wake her. Then she would just stop suddenly. She would just fall over limp like she passed out even if she was sitting up. Dave's remedy was whip cream, nice one Dad.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

Who's the baby in the mirror? Madi just realized her image or did she? She was laughing, yelling and slapping the baby. Now when she sees a mirror she cracks up and reaches out to touch the baby.

Election 2008

Obama? Say it isn't so!Madi wore her election gear yesterday. It took us 3 visits to the town hall but we finally voted. Madi was listening to the results. Can you tell she is a Republican. She was no John McCain fan but he was the lesser of the two evils. She faced her first loss.

Happy Halloween

Don't worry bee happy! Believe it or not I went shopping 4 weeks ago and there were only 2 costumes. The bee or a pumpkin. I was going to order on line but I got busy. Madi enjoyed dressing up. We just went to Essex, no candy this year. Funny story, I got laid off on Thursday and was given 30 days to find a new job. I was told this is your time to find a new job. So I decided it's Halloween, why go in to the office. Needless to say my boss called me and informed me I am no longer laid off, the demotion I have been requesting since 2006 was granted. Woo hoo, as of 12-1-08 I am no longer management and will not have to travel again. Boy do I hate NY. Of course the first thing that came to mind now that I have a job again is Dave and I should visit NYC for the holidays and catch a show. I must be crazy.

Dare Devil

Look Mom, one hand!!! She is crazy. She pulls herself up on everything. She's getting so daring. She sometimes just lets go and then falls. She was hanging onto the fish that's on the saucer and leaning back. Daycare's been good because Madison is learning from Kaylee. Look how proud she is in the last one.
