Think Spring!!

This kid loves being outside. It only takes the wind blowing through her few precious strands of hair to put on a big grin. Happy 1st day of spring. Other than the serious spring cleaning we need to do from the ice storm, spring is welcomed.

Happy Belated St. Patty's Day

I hope everyone enjoyed the day. I certainly have the "Luck of the Irish". I have been sick as a dog since Monday. This flu is quite unlucky.

Wii'd Out

Madison had a busy day. It was off to the mall for pictures with a live bunny and then home to Wii. Nana and Pop came over and played some bowling with us. It was fun. Sleep was not going to interfere with her Wii. She would not let go. She loves playing or pretending while we play.

Normal or Alarming?

Is it normal for a child to grab everything by the neck? She grabs her bears, babies, big bird and her beloved Elmo by the neck. She gives a little shake and usually a kiss, Bi-Polar???? Please tell me it's just a coordination thing.

Another Rough One

It has been a long tough week in the Feener household. Madison's ear infection will not clear up it began on 1-31 and will not go away. On top of it she got a chest cold with a nasty cough. She was so congested and has no way to expel the mucus. Poor kid can't breathe and that meant little sleep. We feel so bad but there is little we can do for her. To make matters worse she was awake while I was getting dressed and I was careless. She pulled the cord of my hair dryer and it landed on top of her head. I felt so bad and then I saw the slice on her head. Thank god she did not need stitches. Looks better in pictures.

She's a Walking!!!!

Madison had a major milestone today, she started walking on her own. She has been taking 5 or 6 steps on her own but today it all came together for her. Instead of dropping after 5 steps she just keeps going. Of course she now wants to run around so she does fall when she gets too excited and goes so fast her little legs just can't keep up. She is a fast little bugger.
