LMAO : )

This kid is killing me lately. We've been cleaning out her clothes to pass along. She found the bags in her closet and comes running out to Dave and I wearing this outfit and suggests we all go for a swim. She is just too much.

She hates to be changed so we play games. So I sometimes say good night or hello to the characters on her clothing as we are getting her dressed. Dave was dressing her and as he hit the basket with the jammies she yells bye-bye monkey.

When she came home from daycare tonight she had to say bye to her blanket since it's the one she keeps in the truck. It doesn't seem as funny typing it out but hearing her do it nonchalantly in her cute little voice is a hoot. We are truly blessed to have her.

Tis the Season

As you all know Christmas time is my favorite time of year and it's getting festive at the Feener home. As you see Madison thinks the entire family should wear her holiday pretties. Tucker didn't share her sentiments and Jackson was no where to be found. We can't wait for the tree lighting in Atkinson on Thursday. it is how we kick off the whirlwind holiday season, a ho-ho-hoeing we go.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thank you Nana B. for a great meal. It was nice for the family to get together. Boompa taught Madi how to do cheers. We now toast at meal time. Poor Dave, there's no going back now. Ron turned his old room into a game room, oh well at least he was able to enjoy a few games of pool. He even won his first game after that it was all down hill from there.

Java

Daddy's coffee cup, oh my!!!!!!

Clean Gene

She loves to clean. I'm not sure who's gene she picked that trait up with???

Natural Beauty

I normally get ready before Madison gets up in the morning. Last Saturday, we got ready together. She was having a ball brushing her hair, putting on headbands which she calls "pretties so I let her have some make-up (baby powder) and she went to town. I love the last one of her smiling at her own reflection. After looking at the second picture a little make-up wasn't a bad idea. Her face looks like a war zone between the scrapes, bruises and all the broken blood vessels from coughing so bad. Dave didn't find this as amusing as I did. He is such a boy!!!!!!!!!!! He mumbled and said that I was encouraging the behavior of wearing make-up. Oh the tween and teen years will be interesting in our home.

My little chubs is a shoe lover. Girl after my own heart. Demanded to wear sandals with socks instead of hikers to daycare. They play outside a lot at daycare and it's cold out now. Normally, we keep her shoes out of reach on a shelf to avoid such fiasco's but shockingly we had time to spare in the morning and she must have found her hidden stash. She had worn them the night before with her jammies and must have hidden them. She screamed like a mad woman and proceeded to take off her sensible shoes and put on sandals. She won this battle and is slowly letting us know that the teenage years will be fun. Check out the grin from when I caved and told her I will put them on!!!!!!!!!!

Still Sick!!!!

Scarily as I mentioned in October, Yes I said October, I took Madi to the Dr. for a rash and I could feel the sickness creeping into my body from being in the infected office. Needless to say by Sunday I was in a world of hurt, a fever for 5 days , 3 trips to the doctor's, a week 1/2 out of work, oodles of medications and yes still coughing and not healthy today.
Madison was sick by that Wednesday and Dave by Friday. She has been in our bed all but 1 night since then. As you can see she gets quite comfy. I dragged her out of bed at 8:10 this morning. Yes, she is a bed hog who likes to sleep sideways and flips about so we haven't had a solid nights rest in a month. Thank god we love her to pieces. I have to bring her back to doctor's tomorrow since she is still hacking away. Let me just say I am frightened to go back!!!!!! Death could be imminent.
