Thanksgiving

Another great Thanksgiving. Nana B cooked a great meal. Can't complain about a day off and a home cooked meal with the ones you love.

Family Time

Last Sunday we all got together for dinner at Boompa's house. It was nice to meet Auntie Kendra's boyfriend Kyle. We don't get to see the Harrell's that often since we all live scattered about. Good seeing everyone and we all had a good time.

Gymnastics

Madison started gymnastics two weeks ago. She has done well for her first class. Last week Dave was sick so he stayed home. Madison was so excited to show Daddy what she does she acted like a crazed child in the beginning. She was so hyper she pooped herself out before class was over. Madison is the biggest in her class as you can see in picture number 2, but she is 6 months to 1 year younger than some so they can follow directions a bit better. Because of Madison's height we tend to expect a little more out of her when you compare her to others. She is improving every time we go. They have unstructured classes during the week so we may get to go practice again before next weeks class. She absolutely loves it and it poops her out.We may also sign up for some swimming for the winter or possibly karate with Dad.

Early Birds

We are starting a little early this year. Madison is just so excited. We've already been watching Christmas movies for about a month now. We just need to keep reminding her about Thanksgiving. The only way we know how is to gobble gobble. So don't be surprised to hear us gobble.

Trick or Treat

Madison experienced her first trick or treat. She missed it last year due to the lovely H1N1/swine flu. We went over to the Lucinskas' house in Windham. Thank you Donna, Johnny, Emily, Riley and Jack for a fun night. Madison wimped out after like the 5th house because it was so cold out so she and Jack went back to Diane's and answered the door to the brave kids trick or treating. Her original costume was Snow White but it was just too small so Daddy picked up Cinderella. She can't wait until next year. We have to keep telling her that Halloween is over and now it's time for some turkey, gobble gobble.

Halloween Eve

Twas the night before Halloween and once again Dave is sick. He mustered up enough energy to carve some pumpkins, poor guy. All three of us were sick last year so Madison has yet to go trick or treating. I am praying that we keep his germs at bay to at least get through Halloween. We once again have plans with the Lucinskas family, please let us make it this year. Madison is looking forward to it. She was Snow White at daycare on Friday and plans to be Cinderella tomorrow.

Madison had her first gymnastics class this morning. She loved it. It tuckered her right out she took a 3 hour nap this afternoon. She did pretty good for her first time.

Snow White

Madison wanted to be Snow White for Halloween, unfortunately her 3t/4t is too small so she will be Cinderella. She loved her Snow White so much we kept it for playing dress-up. She loves to pose for the camera. I cannot get her to stop. I try and sneak taking pictures so she doesn't pose. My shy kid loves herself. The other day she told me she looked cute today and that I should take her picture. The problem is she can't wait to see the picture on the digital camera. Oh goodness what would I have done with a boy???

Happy Birthday Boompa

We had a nice time celebrating Boompa's birthday with the Feener's. Boompa thought we just wanted him to work on the house, glad we could surprise him. Madison had fun baking and decorating his cake.

I Hiding Mama

She loves to hide. From under the box she was yelling " I hiding Mama". She hides in her car seat under her blanket she keeps in the car. Every time, I open the door she says in a surprised tone "Oh, you found me Mama". As long as her eyes are covered she thinks she's hiding and can't be seen. It is quite cute. Lol, Dave is changing her diaper right now and I just heard him say "I find you". She is also in the phase of stealing noses and will stick her fingers in anything and yell what happened to my fingers even if it is a clear see through glass. Never a dull moment.
She just says the funniest things. We were in the meat market and they had a head in there for a decoration and Madison yells out "Mommy that's scary, that's Scooby Doo Scary" and giggles. She sees any decorations in a store and starts yelling out "Happy Halloween" in her Irish whisper. Yes we get a lot of looks when we are out. Speaking of Scooby she is in a toss up whether she should marry him or Daddy. It's quite a toss up that changes by the minute.

Need Pixie Dust

Maybe Tink's new movie not such a good idea. Already watched it 3 times and it only came out yesterday. She pointed to the ceiling and advised Dave she wants to fly up there like Lizzie.

Poopies For Treasure

Full moon be damned, we had a great night in the Feener home. Madison went poops on the potty. She was so excited to be able to get some pirates booty from the treasure box. We were so thrilled we let her get 2 items. She chose some Cinderella sparkly lip gloss and a sparkly handbag. Hopefully we are making progress on the potty training.

Daddy Relaxing?? Not Allowed!!

Poor Daddy just wants to relax and read his book. She just cannot resist jumping all over him. She uses the exercise ball as a trampoline to vault herself on his back. Good thing he is tough as nails.

Today!!

I am finally caught up to real time, yay. I have felt so bad about not blogging since this is the only thing she has to look back upon her life. Anyway, this kid cracks me up. Tonight Dave told her she needed her shoes to go out on the deck. Daddy's were closer so she put those on thinking that we would let her go outside with them on. When I told her no chuckling she started posing.
Dave then proceeded to change her diaper where she decided no diaper was necessary because she was going swimming. It was cold but we went with her.

Uncle Doug's Birthday

We went to Uncle Doug's to have some yummy cake and ice cream for his birthday. Tyler is too cute. He loves to kiss and hug Madison. Someday they will both chuckle at this photo. Happy Birthday Uncle Doug!

Applecrest

We attended the opening fall festival at Applecrest Labor Day weekend. Madison got her face painted, fed the animals, danced to the band and shared ice cream with Daddy. The weather was perfect, maybe next time we'll actually pick some apples.
