We had a nice impromptu cookout with the family memorial day. Nana B made some yummy chocolate cupcakes. It was very relaxing. Delaney came for her annual visit. It was neat watching her lay her eggs in her usual spot. You could see the white eggs roll out as she lifted her legs and pushed them in the hole. We have yet to see any of her offspring survive. This year we put a chaise over her nest so the dog's don't crush her eggs and hopefully it will also deter the local wildlife from snacking. We'll see in September if it was a success.
